CPD Llanberis 4 Gwalchmai 1

Ifan Mansoor made it 10 goals in eight games as his double helped guide Llanberis to an emphatic win over Gwalchmai in Friday night’s cup semi-final at Ffordd Padarn.

Thomas Collins edged the Darans in front in the very first minute before Marc Evans levelled after 20 with his 20th goal of the season – and he has also netted in each of his last five outings for the Anglesey side.

All-square at the break and it was not until the 74th minute that another goal was scored. Mansoor, who joined Llanberis from Llangefni Town in March. found the net and Gethin Maxwell provided the assist.

Things got worse for Gwalch when Cian Owen was shown a red card on 80.

Mansoor struck again on 83 and Maxwell was the supplier when Marvin Pritchard made it 4-1 in the 90th minute.

CPD Boded 1 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 2

Second half goals from Muhammad Hosany and Alwyn Roberts were enough to establish a winning position for Llandegai, Osian Cai Williams with a late consolation for Boded.

Cemaes Bay 4 CPD Nefyn United 3

Nefyn suffered their first defeat in 23 matches as Cemaes Bay ran out winners of a seven-goal thriller.

Luke McGivern’s ninth-minute penalty put Bay in front and Ryan Folksman doubled the lead on 40, making it 2-0 at half time.

Rhys Williams hit back for the Penwaig two minutes into the second period, but Iolo Hughes restored the Anglesey team’s two-goal advantage by converting from a Ben Hoyland assist after 59.

Tomi Evans soon replied for the visitors, then not long after Cemaes were reduced to 10 men when Rhys Lloyd was red-carded.

Nonetheless, McGivern made it 4-2 to Bay on 82 with his 30th goal of the season, but the contest remained alive when Llyr Williams nabbed a third for Nefyn.

However, Llyr Williams was shown a red for the visitors three minutes into added time and on the final whistle United’s long undefeated streak of more than six months was over.

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 4 Glantraeth 4 (aet – Penrhyn won 6-5 on penalties)

An eight-goal stormer at Maes-y-Parc ended with Penrhyndeudraeth advancing to the semis on spot-kicks.

Alun Hughes nudged Penrhyn ahead on 14, but Dylan John Williams levelled after 22.

The hosts were 3-1 up by the interval courtesy of a Cian Pritchard penalty and Robbie Jones own goal.

Glantraeth rallied determinedly after the restart, Andy Clarke cutting the deficit before Jones atoned for the OG by making it all-square on 57.

Glan keeper Maddox Owen was dismissed for a second yellow with 84 on the clock, but the Anglesey visitors held on for extra time.

Clarke put the 10 men ahead in the third minute of the first period from the penalty spot – his 15th goal of the season – but Pritchard’s second pen made it 4-4 on 104.

It was Pritchard’s 35th goal of 2024-25 in all competitions.

No further score, so it went to penalties and it stood at 5-5 in the shootout before Glan missed and Ifan Jones converted the winner to see the hosts through.

North Wales Coast West Division One

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 4 CPD Mountain Rangers 0

Cai Price, Oliver Dukes-Morgan, Guto Roberts and Owain Jones-Owen supplied the goals which secured champions Blaenau their 12th successive league win – that rounds off a brilliant season which also delivered the NWCFA Junior Challenge Cup for the Quarrymen.

North Wales Coast East Premier Division

Llandudno Amateurs 2 CPD Cerrigydrudion 1

Cerrig’s 13-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end at the Go Goodwins Stadium.

James Cory gave the Amateurs a 16th minute lead which they held to half time, Jay Sutton with the assist.

Rhidian Edwards replied on 52 minutes for Cerrig, who were all but assured of third place whatever the result.

However, Sutton delivered a 68th minute clincher for the Amateurs, who had lost six on the bounce, so therefore ended their campaign in great fashion with a somewhat surprising but welcome success.
