Lock Stock Ardal Northern League Cup Final
Brickfield Rangers v Porthmadog

Saturday, May 17 – 2.30 pm at Hops and Barley Community Stadium, Rhyl

With Brickfield Rangers having already wrapped up the Ardal North East League title and been promoted to the Tier 2 JD Cymru North, Gareth Wilson’s side will be aiming for a fantastic double at Rhyl on Saturday.

In their way stands Porthmadog, who missed out on the promotion picture themselves by finishing third in Ardal North West.

Both sides are full of quality, experienced players, many used to big occasions and it should be a top class encounter at Brickie manager Wilson’s former home ground, where he twice won the Welsh Premier League with Rhyl FC.

Brickfield and Port have not met since 2021-22, when both were in Ardal North West.

Port won 3-1 away and 5-1 at home, ending the campaign getting promoted back to the Cymru North.

Now the boot is on the other foot – but anything can happen in a cup final. What will be the outcome tomorrow?
