Flint Town United duo share top awards

Two stars shone brightest when Flint Town United Ladies held their annual presentation evening at the weekend.

Taylia Challoner landed the Managers’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards, while Zoe Stopford received the Supporters’ Player and Golden Boot accolades.

Right-back Taylia, 26, played in all 19 of Flint’s league and cup games during 2024-25 including a full set of 14 in the Adran North.

Flint finished fifth in their debut season at Tier 2 level with Taylia one of their most consistent players.

She received a number of Player of the Match awards and featured in the Genero Adran Leagues Team of the Week alongside the Adran Premier’s finest.

Taylia has made 52 first team appearances for the Silkwomen, reaching the 50 mark in a 2-1 defeat at CPD Y Rhyl 1879 on March 9.

Zoe, 28, joined Flint at the start of 2023-24 and has compiled fabulous stats of 40 goals in 34 appearances.

She has been leading goal-getter for the Silkies in each of the past two seasons, netting 27 in 2023-24 and 13 this term.

A former NFA, Rhyl and Holywell Town player, Zoe has always had an eye for goal at all of her clubs.
