Kinmel Bay continued their incredible run of form with a commanding 5-0 win over Trearddur Bay, stretching their unbeaten streak to eight games.
The breakthrough came in the 30th minute when goalkeeper Shelby Wild launched a pinpoint ball upfield, finding striker Amy Chesters, who calmly slotted home to put the hosts ahead with her 24th goal of the season.
It was a rare but brilliant assist from the keeper that set the tone for the afternoon.
After the break, Kinmel doubled their lead in the 49th minute. Georgia Williams played a long ball to pick out Natasha Standing, who made no mistake, confidently finishing to give her side breathing space.
Just three minutes later, the crowd was treated to a moment of magic from defender Sarah Williams who unleashed a thunderous strike from outside the box that flew into the net, making it 3-0 and leaving the Bay goalkeeper with no chance.
The relentless Kinmel Bay pressure continued and paid off again in the 56th minute. Captain Seren Williams showed her quality, latching onto a throw-in from Chloe Scanlan before finding the back of the net with a composed finish.
Seren Williams wasn’t done yet. In the 71st minute, Georgia Williams grabbed her second assist of the day, setting up Seren for her brace, 14th goal of the campaign and Kinmel Bay’s fifth of the match, putting the result beyond any doubt.
At the other end, it was a rock-solid defensive performance from Kinmel Bay. Defender Scanlan pulled off two heroic goal-line clearances to preserve the clean sheet, and goalkeeper Wild capped her outstanding performance with another shutout.
With this result, Kinmel Bay have now gone eight games undefeated, solidifying their position as one of the most in-form teams in the league.
