Following our exclusive story published last night about Connah’s Quay Nomads’ immediate suspension from football, the FAW have released a statement this morning.

It reads…..

Connah’s Quay Nomads Football Club have today (4 April) been informed by the Football Association of Wales that they have been placed under an immediate suspension.

“In accordance with FAW Rule 49.1, Connah’s Quay Nomads have been suspended from all football related activity for failure to pay training compensation to Llandudno FC.

“An FAW Disciplinary Panel had previously ordered Connah’s Quay Nomads to make the payment by 4:00pm on 4 April 2025.

“The suspension will be lifted should the FAW be satisfied that the payment to Llandudno has been made.”
