Great news for Holywell Town fans – Johnny Haseldin is staying on as manager for the 2025-26 campaign.
The long-serving boss, 43, took over as player-manager at Halkyn Road at the start of the 2012-13.
He has since guided the Wellmen to a host of honours, including league titles in the Cymru North, Welsh Alliance and Welsh National (Wrexham Area), plus the FAW Trophy and North East Wales Challenge Cup.
Haseldin is in his 12th season as Town manager, a spell broken only by a brief step down at the end of 2017-18 before he returned to the helm in September of the following season.
Last season, the popular manager led the club to its first Cymru North title, but unfortunately due to not meeting promotion criteria for the Cymru Premier League, Holywell had to stay put.
They will finish third in the tier 2 league this season and with the top flight expanding to 16 teams in 2026-27, the chances of promotion next term will increase.
As well as winning seven major trophies as Holywell boss, Haseldin is well known for becoming the first and still only manager in history to steer a tier 3 club to the Welsh Cup semi-finals, a feat he achieved in 2013-14.
