Following the recent Nathaniel MG Cup Final, Aberystwyth Town and The New Saints have been charged with disciplinary offences.
The offences are set out under FAW Rule 38.1.13.
The FAW announced today that Aberystwyth have been charged with the alleged failure of its players to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or fail to refrain from violence, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language following the final on Friday 28 February 2025.
The New Saints have been charged with the alleged failure of its players and manager to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or fail to refrain from violence, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language following the above final.
In addition, The New Saints manager Craig Harrison has been charged with the Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for alleged improper conduct, including abusive language and aggressive conduct following the Nathaniel MG Cup Final,
In accordance with FAW Rule 43.1.2, those charged have seven business days to respond to indicate whether the charge is admitted or denied.
The New Saints retained the cup with a 1-0 win over Aberystwyth.
