Nomads on verge of 2024-25 Adran North title

Polly Wild-McGregor was a hat-trick star for Nomads tonight

Genero Adran North table – up to and including March 4, 2025

CPDM Bangor 0 Connah’s Quay Nomads 5

Polly Wild-McGregor was on the hat-trick trail once more tonight as Nomads closed to within a single win of the league title.

If Jordan Parry’s side beat bottom side NFA at home on Sunday, they will be crowned 2024-25 Genero Adran North champions.

Such is their superior goal difference, a point at the weekend will surely be enough to seal top spot, but the all-reds will want to do the job in style.

Tonight saw Nomads ran out 5-0 winners at Bangor, making it 11 straight wins from the start of the season. No doubt the aim will now be to finish champions with a 14-0 100% record.

Quay led 2-0 come the interval at Bangor City Stadium, captain Wild-McGregor netting on 25 and 40 minutes.

A Carol Lewis OG on 49 made it three, then a minute later Wild-McGregor made it 28 goals for the season with her fifth treble of 2024-25.

Melanie Barlow added number five after 82 minutes.
