Holyhead Hotspur’s 14-0 victory over Conwy Borough on March 1, 2025, is not a record for the Ardal Northern Leagues.
That achievement is the current property of Brickfield Rangers, who won 15-0 at Brymbo in an Ardal North West fixture on April 13, 2022.
Goalscorers for Rangers were: Haci Ozlu (4), Andrew Vale (4), Aaron White (2), Aaron Jones, Owen Jones, Isaac Dawson, Gerson Neto and Dylan Jones.
Hotspur’s Ardal North West St David’s Day demolition job is joint second highest in the league’s history alongside Chirk AAA’s 14-0 hammering of Kerry in 2021-22.
However, Holyhead now share the record for the joint highest home win since the Ardal Northern was founded, along with Chirk.
Cefn Albion were 13-0 home winners over Kerry in 2021-22 and that campaign also included an 11-0 triumph for Llandudno Albion versus visitors Brymbo.
The Ardal Northern Leagues, comprising Ardal North East and Ardal North West, operate in Tier 3 of the Welsh football pyramid and are in just their fourth season of existence.
