Big guns are drawn together in tier 2 cup semi-final

Colwyn Bay (claret and blue) will host Airbus in the WBS League Northern section semi-final next month

The two biggest guns remaining in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup Northern section have drawn each other in the semi-finals.

Colwyn Bay, second in Cymru North, will host leaders Airbus UK Broughton in the last four next month.

In the other semi, Bangor 1876 will entertain Penrhyncoch.

In the Southern section, Pontypridd United and Penrhiwceiber Rangers will meet at USW Sports Park after both scoring stoppage time winners in Round Two, while Newport City host Trefelin for a place in the regional final.

Ties will be played across the weekend of 14-16 March.

Colwyn Bay v Airbus UK Broughton
Bangor 1876 v Penrhyncoch

Southern section

Pontypridd United v Penrhiwceiber Rangers
