NWCFA Development League: Pentraeth hit 10, Phoenix and Gaerwen keep up good starts

NWCFA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE REPORTS – JANUARY 26

PREMIER DIVISION

CPD Nefyn United – Tim Datblygu 1 Penmaenmawr Phoenix Development 4

Cody Williams was a two-goal star as Penmaenmawr continued their perfect start to the second phase.

Williams struck on 49 and 88 minutes, Allen Padua netting first for the visitors with 19 gone, while Ben Jarvis also found the mark after 74.

Rhys Gough Williams responded for Nefyn, who were level at 1-1 come half time.

CPD Pwllheli – Tim Datblygu 0 Kinmel Bay Development 1

Charlie Hill notched the 37th minute goal which earned Kinmel Bay three points at The Rec in Pwllheli.

Top-scorer Jacob Jones provided the assist for the goal.

Pwllheli’s Josh Roberts was red-carded.

CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION

CPD Gaerwen Development 7 CPD Henllan Development 1

Early leaders Gaerwen put a magnificent seven past Henllan, CJ Williams with a double, while singles were supplied by Dan Barton, Mark Wayne Hughes, Madog Williams, David Mansell and Cian Williams, Kieran Williams with Henllan’s consolation.

CPD Pentraeth Development 10 Prestatyn Wanderers Development 0

Joseph Owen led the way with four goals as Pentraeth hit double figures at Bryniau.

Charles Craig (2, 1 pen), Charlie Dales, Dion Owen, Morgan Rogers and captain Corey Abbott made up the rest.

Mochdre Sports Development 3 Bontnewydd Development 2

Trailing 2-0 at half time, Mochdre fought back to win 3-2 in the second period.

Sion Kelly and N/A put Bont two-up at the break, but the picture changed after the turnaround, Scott Roberts, Deacan Leuty and Louis Davies with a 78th minute winner turning the tables.
