Menai Mavericks and Walis Bryncoch are joint Division One leaders after the latest round of matches in the Hogan Cynghrair Pêl-Rwyd Gwynedd a Môn: Gaeaf/Gwynedd & Anglesey Netball League Winter 2024/25 season.
Bryncoch moved level with their Anglesey rivals after a thrilling 34-31 victory over next-to-bottom Penygroes Primos on Wednesday.
Primos led 18-15 at half time, but Walis rallied to be just 25-24 ahead entering the last, which they then won 9-7.
Third-place Dyffryn Ladies were narrowly beaten 24-23 by reigning Division One champions Pwllheli Panthers in another cracker.
Arfon Ladies turned on the goal power in the second half to see off Bethesda 33-14,
The match between the teams in fourth and fifth, Rebals TC and Fflamau TC, finished 26 goals apiece.
Rebals were leading 16-10 at the half, and 21-18 at the end of quarter three, but Fflamau showed real fire in the closer to win it 8-5 and seal a share of the points.
Genod Walis remain in control at the Division Two summit after defeating Thunderjags 30-11 on Tuesday evening.
Walis are five points clear at the summit, although second-place Pwllheli Pumas, who did not play on the night, have a game in hand.
Third-place Porthmadog Dyffryn Ladies outscored Walis Midffild, just a slot below, 34-25, having led throughout.
Llewod Llyfni took the honours 29-21 against Blaenau Ffestiniog, who drew the second quarter 6-6 and lost the third just 6-5. However, Llyfni took the opener 7-4 and the fourth 10-6.
Llongyfarchiau Bethesda Bach, who gained their first win of the season at the ninth attempt, beating Pwllheli Dreigiau Dre 19-14. Dre are bottom and still chasing their opening victory.
