CPD Y Rhyl 1879 are the latest Grassroots North Wales Clwb y Mis/Club of the Month.

The Lilywhites are our December choice after winning all three league matches in a month where they have drawn level on points with Ardal North West leaders Porthmadog.

The gap was, until recently, eight points, but with Port having a couple of slip-ups on their travels, 1879 now only trail the Traeth side on goals scored.

Rhyl are still unbeaten under manager Paul Moore, who took over in November and has led his new team to a six-game undefeated run.

This month saw 1879 whip Nantlle Vale and St Asaph City 6-1 and 3-0 respectively at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium, as well as ending the season-long unbeaten home record of NFA.

December was on the whole a quiet month for the North Wales pyramid, with most of tiers 4 and 5 only playing one match.

Rhyl 1879 actually won Clwb y Mis/Club of the Month in December 2023, so mark that achievement exactly one year on with a repeat feat.

Also in outstanding form during December 2024 were Airbus UK Broughton, Llandudno and Llanrwst United, all of whom come very close runners-up to the Lilywhites with 100% records.
