Denbigh Town forward Nathan Brown has been selected as the Player of the Round for the JD Welsh Cup Round Four.
Brown starred in the Reds’ emphatic 7-1 win over Llanuwchllyn at Central Park earlier this month, as they secured a place in the quarter-finals for the first time in their 144-year history.
Brown netted twice in the first half, opening the scoring with an effort that looped over the goalkeeper before grabbing his second with a fierce strike from distance, while also twice setting up Owen Davies as Denbigh led 4-0 at the break.
He would complete a hat-trick of assists shortly after the hour mark as his shot was parried into the path of Davies who notched his treble, while Brown made it three goals of his own with five minutes remaining by tapping in at the back post.
Since joining Town at the start of 2022-23, Brown has netted a superb 61 goals in 95 appearances.
Denbigh will host Llanelli Town in the Quarter-Finals on Saturday 15 February.
