Twins Alex Jones and James Jones have spoken of their delight at returning to a Prestatyn Town side they have enjoyed great success with in the past.
Both were members of the Town squad which won the Cymru North title in 2019-20.
This time the mission is survival as the Seasiders aim to climb off the bottom of the tier 2 league.
The Jones brothers both left CPD Y Rhyl 1879 a fortnight ago.
Speaking to Prestatyn Town’s social media, James said: “Having left Rhyl recently I wanted to join a club where I would enjoy my football again and having played under Perry previously, I’m more than happy to come in and try help the club in the fight against relegation.
“ From speaking with Perry and the chairman, it’s clear they have a long term plan in place and I’m looking forward to being part of it.
“We have plenty of hard work ahead but with the coaching staff Perry has assembled and the players they are looking to bring in and add to the current squad, I’m looking forward to the challenge.
“Having been here previously, I know what the club means to the supporters and I will be giving it my best in the challenge ahead.”
Alex added: “Delighted to re-join the club and help try and get us out of the relegation fight. Having played at Prestatyn previously from 2018-2020, it’s a club that I’m fond of and have some great memories here and hopefully we can make some more.
“I’ve had plenty of offers whilst at Rhyl especially since Perry left, but having spoken to Perry and hearing his plans especially with him being able to bring majority of the coaching staff with him, it was a no brainer to join the club not just for the remainder of the season but also for next season as he will bring success back here – I’m confident of that.
“Looking forward to getting back playing in front of the loyal supporters here at the club.”
Alex and James will be eligible to start playing for Prestatyn from January.
