Nomads fought back from two goals down to beat and outlast Llandudno in Sunday’s top of the table Genero Adran North clash at Maesdu Park.
It was a fifth straight league win for the Quay, who enjoy a six-point lead at the summit having also scuppered Tudno’s own 100 percent Adran North record.
Becky Jarvis-Evans gave reigning champions Llandudno the ideal start when she headed home an Erin Doran cross after just four minutes.
Great play from Doran in the seventh minute resulted in her finding the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
The hosts were off to a flyer, but no game was ever won in the opening minutes and by half time Jordan Parry’s side were level courtesy of goals from Ella Jones and Polly Wild-McGregor.
In the second half, Nomads’ better staying power came to the fore as first Ella Jones made it 3-2 on 64 minutes to complete a double against her former club.
Wild-McGregor maintained her superb form this season by adding her second of the afternoon with 79 on the clock.
And there was no let up from Nomads as substitute Anais Bathily scored two minutes after taking the field, earning the Deesiders a third victory in four meetings with Tudno this season.
