Two new signings have been announced by Trearddur Bay Ladies.

Goalkeeper Megan Robinson transfers over from Genero Adran North champions Llandudno, while Georgie Wasnidge, a Bangor-based student, joins as an exciting midfield prospect.

The pair add to four other recent signings by the Anglesey side – Katie Ann Davies, Jess Woods, Millie Turner and Elle Rasmussen.

Robinson, 31, was part of the Llandudno side crowned tier 2 champions last season.

Before that, she had spells with Connah’s Quay Nomads and CPD Y Rhyl 1879.

She last played for Llandudno in the 4-2 Genero Adran Trophy defeat at the hands of Aberystwyth Town on November 10.

Robinson is the latest departure from Maesdu Park, following the exits of key defender Shona Roberts to Flint and prolific scorer Ella Jones to Nomads.

Recent arrivals from CPD Y Rhyl 1879, Rachael Thomas, Cassie Thomas and Sade Benjamin, all returned to Belle Vue very quickly.

Georgie Wasnidge

New Trearddur Bay player Wasnidge, 20, has been on manager Ali Thomas’ target list for a while.

He said: “She is a Bangor based student who has been training with us for a couple of months and has made a fantastic impression and we have finally persuaded her to sign. A hard working competitive midfielder who passes really well.”

On the securing of Robinson’s signature, Thomas added: “She is a fantastic keeper with a fantastic record in the game.”
