Dominant Bay made it two wins out of two in their Betty Pickering Cup qualifying group against Powys opposition.
Trearddur embarked on the long trip down to mid Wales for the second time in a month after previously beating Berriew.
Bay made a dream start in the very first minute at Welshpool’s Maesydre when Jess Woods was put through with a fantastic ball from Millie Turner which caught out the home defence and she coolly finished.
The roles were reversed 25 minutes later when Woods crossed one in for Turner to slot home.
Trearddur were now controlling midfield with Erin Mulvey, Rhian Griffiths and Amelia Roberts running the show.
However, a combination of fantastic keeping from Jamaican Ray-Anna Palmer in the home goal and poor finishing from Bay saw no further goals before half time.
The second half started with Welshpool working really hard to get back in the match but Bay’s back line of Sian Roberts, Chloe Taylor, Clare Head and Gemma Thomas were determined to keep a clean sheet.
Bay’s third came when sub Abbie Manning scored in the 57th minute after great work down the left wing from captain Freya Davies.
Trearddur manager Ali Thomas was forced into a reshuffle in the 70th minute when full back Catrin Jones came on for the injured Woods
Welshpool continued to battle and run but could not stop Amelia Roberts and Freya Davies adding two more.
A very satisfying afternoon saw Katie Bolton keep her first clean sheet of the season and the result puts Trearddur top of group 4.
Manager Thomas was happy to see the team get back to winning ways once more and now looks forward to welcoming an on-form Llanystumdwy to Lon Isallt next Sunday.
