Premier Division

CPD Y Glannau 1 Mochdre Sports 1

Sports held on to their narrow lead at the Premier summit thanks to a late equaliser from Scott Roberts.

Y Glannau were poised to return to top spot when they took a 1-0 advantage courtesy of Josh Macgillivray’s goal from a Tom Edgley assist.

However, Mochdre’s man of the match Joshua Grimshaw set up Roberts for an 83rd minute leveller.

The draw ended a run of seven straight league victories for Sports, while Y Glannau are undefeated in eight league outings.

Meliden 2 CPD Llansannan 3

Veteran Leon Gierke grabbed Llansannan’s winner at Ffordd Ty Newydd six minutes into added time.

Sub Gierke, 44, a former Burnley and Rhyl FC player in the League of Wales, came on in the 78th minute and scored twice to guide his team to victory.

Lewys Jones gave Llansannan a seventh-minute lead, Rio Ross levelled on 27 before Elliot Smith edged Meliden in front with 69 gone.

Gierke equalised moments after coming on for Gruffudd Roberts, then bagged the decider with 96 on the clock.

Rhuddlan Town 2 CPD Bro Cernyw 1

Rhuddlan nudged further away from the bottom two with a good home win over fellow strugglers Bro Cernyw.

Liam Bowers’ 22nd minute strike ensured Town were ahead at half time, but Carwyn McFadden restored parity on 58, benefiting from an Osian Roberts assist.

Enter Bowers to score his second of the game and the decider in the 74th minute, the assist supplied by Ryan Gordon, also his second of the afternoon.

Division One

Blue Bridge 1 Prestatyn Sports 11

Double-figures for second-place Sports, who went level with on points with leaders Rhos United and Llandudno Swifts in third.

Kris Owen (3), Noel Jones (2), Paul Brady (2), captain Gareth Walsh (2), Alex Hall and sub Steve Gilmour shared the goals. Hall also provided six assists.

Captain Jonathan Mee hit back for the Bridge.

Llandudno Swifts 2 Penrhyn Bay 1

Sub Thomas Harrison turned the tide with goals on 73 and 75 minutes to earn Swifts the win at Penrhyn Bay’s expense.

Captain Solomon Dickens had put the visitors in front after 32.

Llysfaen 4 Rhyl Albion 0

Steven Collins (2), Lee Fallas and Danny Jones split the goals as Llysfaen comfortably beat Albion at The Bananabeu.

The win edged Llys up to fourth in the table.

CPD Bro Cernyw 1 Penmaenmawr Phoenix 2

James Hobson struck twice to earn Phoenix all the points.

Carwyn McFadden notched a late reply for Cernyw, who had William Hughes sent off on 33 minutes for two yellow cards.

Logan Williams was sent for an early bath after receiving a second yellow for the visitors on 73.

Glan Conwy 4 Rhuddlan Town 3

Prolific Lewis Brownson notched another hat-trick for Glan – including the 72nd minute winner at Cae Ffwt.

Brownson boosted his goals tally for the season to 16, 14 of them in the Premier, where he is current top-scorer on 14,

His treble was made up of goals on 8, 11 and 72 minutes, Max Williams adding another for the hosts on the hour.

Liam Bowers (2) and Andy Booker replied for battling Rhuddlan.

Llandudno Amateurs 5 Llandyrnog United 0

David Hansom (2), Joe Jones (2) and Kyle King shared the goals as the Amateurs whipped Llandyrnog at Maesdu Park.

Llandudno Junction 2 CPD Y Glannau 2

Great contest at The Flyover, where Glannau kept their unbeaten run going with a well-earned draw.

Dave Maddock netted twice for Junction, but Osian Williams and Dan Price replied for Glannau.

Llanfairfechan Town 5 Meliden 1

Ruthless Llanfairfechan romped to victory by going nap with goals from Sion Devereux (2), Cyril Carey, Ellis Jones and Harry Croston, Jonathan Terry responding for the visitors, who had Lee Beattie and Kai Wallis dismissed for teo yellows.

CPD Llansannan 1 Mochdre Sports 2

Finlay Jones’ 93rd minute clincher made it seven straight league victories for Mochdre.

Kane Williams had earlier equalised on 68 after Josh Griffiths struck first for Sannan after 28.

Division One

Rhyl Albion 6 Blue Bridge 3

Kyle Lally scored five times for Albion in a nine-goal cracker versus Blue Bridge.

Lally boosted his league tally to 10 in eight games and 14 for the season in all after going nap at the Glan Clwyd Sports Centre outdoor pitch.

Keiran Kendrick also netted for the hosts, Jonathan Mee, sub Thomas Dodd and an own goal from Michael Harrison supplying the Bridge total.
