She’s one of the most amazing young goalscorers to feature in North Wales football.
At the age of just 20, Llandudno’s Ella Jones recently reached 50 senior goals for Llandudno in only 33 appearances.
Having scored in each of her last seven matches, Ella is on 15 for the current season, her latest coming in last Sunday’s Welsh Cup victory over Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Ella’s actual 50th goal was her second in a 4-0 Genero Adran Trophy win at CPDM Bangor on October 13.
After scoring a hat-trick in quadruple-winning Penrhyn Bay’s FAW Under-16 Girls Welsh Cup final victory in 2018-19, Ella burst on the scene as a 17-year-old for Llandudno in the newly-formed Tier 2 Genero Adran North League in 2021-22.
Ella netted a magnificent 22 goals in 12 games before a serious injury ended her season early and meant she missed out on the league title and NWCFA Challenge Cup winning celebrations.
Recovery was a long process and she missed all of the 2022-23 season.
She signed for Wrexham, but her stay there was brief and early in 2023-24 she made her long-awaited return for Llandudno.
Ella scored 14 goals in as many matches as Tudno went on to be crowned tier 2 champions for the second time in three seasons.
Her form has been deadlier than ever so far this campaign.
