New Goalden Girl table leader netted NINE times in her latest game!

Beth Roberts (stripes) of CPDM Henllan scored nine goals and supplied four assists in her team’s 18-0 weekend victory

With 21 goals in just five matches CPDM Henllan’s Bath Roberts is the new leader of the 2024-25 Goalden Girl table.

Beth’s latest outing on Sunday saw her net nine times in an 18-0 victory over newcomers Coedpoeth United.

The youngster now has a five-goal lead at the summit.

We don’t want to hear talk of the quality of opposition any of these girls are facing at times this season.

Every player who has featured in our top 10 markswomen of the past few seasons has had the luxury of boosting their totals against so-called weaker sides. It’s part of the game in North Wales. The up-and-coming novice teams have always been around.

We love them being here and want to see them progress. Think where some of the present stronger teams started.

So many of the leading goalscorers this season are teenagers. This says so much for the future. We want to see some of these youngsters progress to higher club standard and international status.
