Wales remain in the all-important top 50 Uefa club rankings this week after mixed fortunes in Europe.
While The New Saints advanced in the Champions League and Caernarfon Town did likewise in the Conference League, both Bala Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads agonisingly exited the latter competition.
With two Welsh clubs out of four eliminated, the nation now sits 50th in the coefficient ratings.
A top 50 finish this season is essential if Wales are to restore their four-club quota in European competitions for 2026-27.
Wales has already lost one place in 2025-26, when the allocation will be reduced from four to three.
