A proven winner in local football has been added to CPD Cefni’s management team.
Kevin O’Neill has joined current boss Graham Jones (Squeez) at the North Wales Coast West Division One side.
More good news for the club is the signing of Ben Smith, Ioan Jones and Lee Lewis, who rejoins the club
Most of the squad from last season have committed for 2024-25.
New man O’Neill has a great track record in management on Ynys Mon, having led Pentraeth Nurseries to the Anglesey League title in 2008-09 and lifting seven cups with that club around the same period before taking over Glantraeth in 2010-11 alongside Chris Roberts.
The pair won six trophies in two seasons – Gwynedd Shield, Bob Owen Memorial Shield, Cwpan Gwynedd and NWCFA Intermediate Cup in 2010-11 and Welsh Alliance Division Two title and Welsh Alliance Division Two Cup double in 2011-12.
O’Neill later managed Gaerwen and will no doubt be a massive asset to CPD Cefni with his vast experience.
