Asa Thomas of Trearddur Bay is the first player in Anglesey senior football to reach 50 goals this season.
Reigning Bob Brodie Trophy holder Thomas achieved the feat for the seventh time in his 700+ goal-packed career when he netted in Bay’s epic 4-3 Cwpan Snowdonia win at Menai Bridge.
In the same game, Tigers’ Callum Graves became the second island player to hit the 40-goal mark this term.
The annual Bob Brodie Trophy competition honours the No 1 marksman in Anglesey senior football each season.
Since our last update, Gaerwen’s Nathan Moore has shot up to sixth place on 24 goals. Another productive season for him.
And making a very welcome entry this week is Welsh Premier League legend Les Davies, who is up to seven goals for Trearddur Bay, whom he joined this season.
