Colwyn Bay begin their new campaign in the Liverpool and District Competition 1st XI First Division by welcoming once mighty Bootle to Penrhyn Avenue.
Bay were relegated from the 1st XI Premier League last season, while their Liverpool-based opponents, regular top-flight champions in the past but a more modest outfit these days, ended up eighth in the First Division in 2023.
