For the first time ever we have joint-winners of the Grassroots North Wales Club of the Month.
CPD Llanuwchllyn and Holywell Town both won six games out of six in March and share this month’s accolade.
Llanuwchllyn are fourth in the Tier 3 Ardal North East and won all six league games played in March. Two further victories going back to February make it eight league successes on the bounce.
Sion Tudor’s side, who walloped Llanfair United 11-2 on Friday, are still in with a shout of winning the Ardal North East title.
Holywell also won all six encounters played in March – 5 in the league and another in the North East Wales Challenge Cup, which put them into the semi-finals.
Top of the Tier 2 Cymru North, Johnny Haseldin’s men have won a remarkable 14 games on the spin since losing to Airbus back in December.
Holywell have won Club of the Month once before – in October 2022.
