The only team still operating in North Wales senior leagues with a 100% record this season made it a perfect 12 straight wins on Saturday.
Corwen are seven points clear in the North East Wales Premier Division after seeing off Castell Alun in their latest challenge.
Early on the visitors hit Corwen on the break and Craig Worthington got through on goal, forcing keeper Nathan Aldridge to burst off his line and win the ball.
With the wind in their favour, Casty hit the post twice before the interval, Nathan Davies with the second effort.
After the turnaround, things turned Corwen’s way.
Early in the second period, Scott Evans collected a cross from Owen Cordiner in the penalty area, where he took a touch before placing beyond Ethan McCarthy into the top corner.
Evans thought he had doubled Corwen’s advantage when he headed in an Alex Webster free kick, but the scorer had strayed offside.
As the game entered the final 12 minutes Tom Weyman fed substitute Tom Williams, whose cross from the wing was converted into a goal by the oncoming Robbie Williams.
It was almost 3-0 when Tom Williams’ 25-yard effort struck the bar.
In the 90th minute Les Brophy punted the ball forward to Tom Williams on the halfway line. Williams went on a long run before slotting into the far corner of the net.
Castell Alun nicked a consolation goal in stoppage time when Kieran Edwards floated a free kick into the Corwen box, where Daniel Woosey headed home.
Levi Coleman gave Coedpoeth the lead on the half-hour, but Matthew Bithell’s 69th minute equaliser earned the Park a point.

All’s well that ended well for Acton who reached the Two Counties Cup final after coming out on top in a semi they had to win TWICE.
Earlier this month, the teams drew 2-2 and Acton prevailed on penalties.
However, the tie had to be replayed as the rule that extra time should come before a penalty shoot out in this competition was not adhered to.
Second time around, an Andrew Bithell penalty and a Liam Davies strike seven minutes into stoppage time earned Acton a meeting with Aston Park Rangers in the final.
Rhydymwyn had Liam Simon dismissed for a second yellow card in the 95th minute.
