Two added time goals earned Denbigh Reserves a dramatic victory at Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd derby.
Ben Senior and Owen Herbert were the net-busting heroes as Liam Nash’s side moved up to third in the table.
It was a less-than-ideal start for Town as Ruthin took the lead on 25 minutes via Caelan Harms.
The second half saw Denbigh push for an all-important leveller.
Despite their efforts, nothing was forthcoming as Ruthin stood firm to keep their rivals at bay. That was until the 91st minute.
As stoppage time began Town moved forward and the ball fell kindly to Senior who struck his first goal for the club since signing in January.
Far from being satisfied with a draw, Denbigh went in for the kill. Four minutes later, with the whistle seconds away they took the spoils for themselves, as Herbert fired home the winner to shatter the hosts and take the three valuable points six miles north to Central Park.
Cieran Williams was a second-half hat-trick hero as Llandudno put six past Chirk on Sunday.
Steffan Roberts opened the scoring for the home side on 14 minutes, Shea Pugh adding a second after 36 before Callum Taylor replied for the Colliers close to the interval.
Cieran Williams took centre stage in the second stanza, netting on 66, 90 and 90+2, Bryn Williams also on the mark with a 77th minute penalty.
Robert Reynolds was a four-goal star for a Gresford side which went one-down at Alyn Park before responding with a dynamic performance.
Jayden Duncan handed the hosts a 10th minute lead, but a Reynolds treble, including a penalty, made it 3-1 at the turnaround.
Callum Wakefield added a fourth for the visitors before Reynolds made it a personal quadruple on 57 minutes.
Athletic could have added a few more goals and while Mold created some late chances they could not affect the scoreline.
Joel Gardner (5), Thomas Blaze (3), Oliver Blayney (3, 1 pen), Ben Richards (2), Harry Clayton and James Nuttall brought up TNS’ 15 goals in this rout at Park Hall, William Weaver with Buckley’s reply.
Kos Jones (2) and Joshua Valentine shared the goals for Albion in this victory over Llangollen.
Leaders Nantlle Vale moved 10 points clear of second-place Flint Mountain – who have played three games less – with a narrow victory over Llay at Maes Dulyn.
Phil Warrington notched both for the hosts, Matthew Grundy with a 90th minute response for Welly.
Ryan Potts netted the only goal of the game on 62 minutes to seal the points for Saints.
James Dunseath (2) and Dylan Owens were on target for Mountain in a three-goal victory over a hard-working Conwy at Blacon High School 4G last Friday.
All the goals came in the second half, during which the hosts were down to 10 men after Mark Foster was dismissed for two yellows late in the first period.
