GENERO ADRAN NORTH

CPDM Y Felinheli 3 (A Huws 24 & 45, Fflur Williams 73)
Llandudno 4 (S Owen 12, K Davies 34 & 85, Donougher 84)

Congratulations to Llandudno – Genero Adran North champions 2023-24!

Sofie Owen’s seasiders clinched a second title in three seasons after two late goals saw off the tremendous challenge of a Felinheli side who had threatened to temporarily spoil the party.

Tudno made a strong start at Treborth, Maddie Williams having an early effort cleared off the line.

On 12 minutes the deadlock was broken, Llandudno captain Sofie Owen applying the finish from a Ffion Owen assist.

Felinheli, who came into the game with an outside chance of the title themselves, were in no mood to lay down and equalised on 24 minutes, Llio Emyr involved as Alaw Huws made it 1-1.

In the 34th minute, the visitors regained the lead when Kelsey Davies converted from a Maddie Williams assist.

This was a true contest, though, and just before half time Alaw Huws equalised to make it all-square at the break.

A massive second half was in prospect and neither side failed to deliver it.

It remained two-apiece until the 73rd minute when former Llandudno striker Fflur Williams edged Felin in front for the first time, Hana Wellings with the assist.

Tudno needed the win to clinch the title today and they produced a big finish.

In the 84th minute, Ffion Owen set up top-scorer Stevie Donougher to make it 3-3 with her 28th goal of the season.

And just a minute later Kelsey Davies knocked in the decider – her 16th goal this term.

After a thrilling encounter Llandudno celebrated another memorable title win.
