New players are required for the 2024 FootGolf Association of Wales 2024 tour

FootGolf in Wales is very popular, but more players are needed to help the sport grow.

Basically involving playing football on a golf course, with bigger holes to accommodate the ball, North Wales has produced many champion performers in recent years.

The FootGolf Association of Wales, whose HQ is based in Ruthin, recently announced its Comms Creatives Tour Schedule 2024.

It includes:

  • The FGAW Welsh Open FIFG250 – October 11, 12 and 13. (venue to be announced)
  • Six FIFG 100 tournament
  • New courses for 2024

All players are welcome on the FGAW Comms Creatives tour 2024 – there are men’s, women’s seniors, super seniors and junior categories.

Here is some information for beginners who may be thinking of joining the FGAW FootGolf tour:

  • Anyone can enter the tournaments once they’ve registered as a player using the link above in this post.
  • All players can choose as many or as little amount of tournaments that they want to play during the season.
  • Each tournament will be released for players to enter several weeks in advance, and the links to enter will be posted on our FootGolf Association of Wales Facebook page.
  • All beginners are made to feel very welcome and the rules are explained before every tournament. No matter what your skill level is, it’s the taking part that counts.
  • You will need your own size 5 football, sports polo style shirt, golf style sports shorts with belt loop, knee high socks (ie football socks, argyle socks) and astro turf trainers.
