It is now official – Dyffryn Clwyd FootGolf Centre has three players representing UK Footgolf Association at the Jansen Cup against FootGolf USA in September at The Celtic Manor Resort.
Jenny Broughall, current UK ladies number one, has been fantastic all campaign and this being her first full season playing at the top level it looks certain there is more to come. Her consistency at the highest level has also given her the honour of captaining Wales against England and Scotland.
Jenny is a gifted all-round sportswoman with fine achievements in tennis and football also on her CV.
Rhys Williams, Ruthin boy and club captain, is a pioneer for footgolf in Wales. He’s been playing since 2014 and qualified by winning the Dragon Tour 2019.
Stu Paisley has qualified in the over 45s. There is not a more hard-working player on the tour, Stu is a player that all other club players look to as an example of what hard work and practice can help you achieve.
DC FootGolf is always on the lookout for new players of all ages and ability, if you think this something that you would be interested in get in touch.
