One of the Adran Premier’s most talked about players in recent times first made her mark in North Wales football.
Pontypridd United goalkeeper Klaudia Wojtyczka has been in magnificent form, having made the Genero Adran League Team of the Week twice in a row after superb displays against top two sides Cardiff City and Swansea City.
She was also named in S4C Sgorio’s 5-y-penwythnos | 5-on-form feature after a magnificent performance versus the Swans.
Born on July 5, 2000, Klaudia is originally from Ruda Slaska in Poland, but moved to North Wales when she was six.
She began playing for Caernarfon Town aged about 12 and worked her way up the age groups before making the first team.
Klaudia was part of the tremendous Canaries squad which won the North Wales Women’s League and Betty Pickering Cup double in 2017-18, but left The Oval at 18 when she moved to South Wales to study at Cardiff Met University, where she tackled sport science at undergraduate and postgraduate.
She represented Cardiff Met Development for two seasons, then joined the Cardiff City Ladies team which competes in the English pyramid Tier 3 FA Women’s National League South.
She was there until last season, then moved to Swansea City for a year before this season signing for Pontypridd, where she plays alongside fellow North Walian and international full-back Maddie Williams.
Maddie said of Klaudia: “She’s a class goalkeeper, literally unreal.”
