CPD Yr Wyddgrug 1 Plas Madoc 7

Six second-half goals ensured Plas Madoc were eventually emphatic winners in this Mike Beech Memorial Trophy clash.

Away goals were shared between Oliver Roberts, Nicky Williams, Jamie Williams (2), Lee Price, Ryan Jakovlevs and Joseph Doyle-Davies.

It was 1-1 at half time, Gethin Thomas equalising on 32 minutes for Yr Wyddgrug after Roberts struck after seven for the Wrexham side.

Group A

Acton 3 Connah’s Quay Town 1

Andrew Bithell, Ryan Jones and Luke Hughes put Acton three-up before Lee Butterworth pulled one back in Friday’s Group A tussle at Ysgol y Grango.

Championship Division

Johnstown 11 Bellevue 2

Michael Dugine led the way for Johnstown with a first-half hat-trick in a double-figure demolition of Bellevue.

Dewi Reeves (2), Keneth Davies (2), Jason Williams, Shane Burke, Daniel Buck and a Casey Bathers own goal made up the rest for the hosts.

Nathan Taylor and James Greenshields notched one apiece for the away side.

Rhydymwyn 7 CPD Sychdyn 0

Nathan Williams pocketed a treble for dominant Rhydymwyn, including a penalty.

Joseph Jones added a pair for the hosts, who edge up to fourth in the Championship, Connor Davies and Marc Gunther netting one apiece.
