Raise your glasses to Caernarfon Town’s first ever stadium sponsor!

The man who can….Caernarfon Town star Darren Thomas celebrates the new club deal with Carling

Pop the champagne corks! Or perhaps cracking open a can would be more suitable in this case.

The Oval stadium at Caernarfon Town has its first ever sponsor – Carling Lager!

In days gone by, the famous advert catchphrase was “I bet he drinks Carling Black Label”

Maybe in 2023 it can become “I bet they support Caernarfon Town”.

The Cymru Premier club has announced the deal will see the world-renowned brand become its ground sponsor for the present season with signage due to be erected in the next few days.

Canaries chairman Paul Evans is delighted that the club has been able to attract such a big name as a key partner:
“This is exciting news for us, and we are delighted to have got Carling on board,” he said.

“We see securing our first ever ground sponsor as an important step in our growth as a club and it was important to us that whoever we partner with is both reputable and respected as a business. Carling is certainly both.

“We wish to thank everyone at Carling and the board of the Caernarfon Town Football Supporters Club for working with us in securing this deal. Everyone at The Oval looks forward to working with Carling and the Supporters Club in the future.”

The Supporters Club at The Oval will be open at 1pm this Saturday and will be showing the Armenia v Wales match.

The club will also be open prior to its match against Barry Town United on Sunday, kick off at 2:30pm. #bedrinkaware
