FAW Amateur Trophy round two draw throws up all Llŷn Peninsula tie!

A Llŷn Peninsula derby between Nefyn United and Pwllheli is one of the standout ties in the draw for the next round of a national knockout competition,

The draw for round 2 of the Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy has been made with ties to be played over the weekend of 29-30 September.

It includes tier 4 Nefyn hosting Pwllheli of tier 3 Ardal North West – a cracker in prospect there!


After 47 clubs progressed from round one, 125 new clubs join the competition in this next stage.

Forty-two clubs have been given byes to round 3, which has been allocated on the basis of sporting merit of finishing positions from the 2022/23 season
