The 56 winners from Qualifying Round 2 (Flint Mountain v Kinmel Bay is to be replayed this Friday) will be joined by 16 clubs from the JD Cymru North and JD Cymru South to make 72 clubs.

These 16 clubs are the eight lowest-ranked from the second tier on the basis of their finishing positions in the 2022/23 campaign.

The 16 clubs are as follows:

JD Cymru South (8):
Abergavenny Town
Abertillery Bluebirds
Ammanford
Baglan Dragons
Caerau Ely
Goytre United
Taffs Well
Trefelin BGC

JD Cymru North (8):
Bangor 1876
Caersws
Chirk AAA
Denbigh Town
Gresford Athletic
Llanidloes Town
Mold Alexandra
Porthmadog

The remaining 16 clubs from these divisions will be given byes – alongside the 12 JD Cymru Premier clubs – to Round 2.

Each club has been allocated to a pot based on their geographic location and a number for the draw between 1-18.

Numbered balls will then be drawn to determine the Round 1 fixtures. The drawing of balls will apply to two pots, split into southern and northern sections.

For example, in Tuesday’s draw there will be 18 clubs in the South West and South East.

Therefore, in these pots, if ball number 1 is drawn against ball number 18, then the fixtures will be:

Afan United (1) v Treharris Athletic Western (18)
Abergavenny Town (1) v Trethomas Bluebirds (18)
