What a way to start S4C’s run of live Cymru Premier matches this season – Bay v Cofis!

The first live televised game of the new Cymru Premier season will feature probably the two best-supported clubs in the league.

It will be an all-North Wales affair when top-flight debutants Colwyn Bay welcome Caernarfon Town to the Four Crosses Construction Arena on Sunday, August 13, kick-off 5.15 pm..

S4C, the JD Cymru Leagues official broadcast partner, today announced its broadcast selections for the opening weeks of the 2023/24 JD Cymru Premier campaign.

After the August 13 opener, the Sgorio cameras will capture the Seagulls live again the following weekend, as they make the trip down south to fellow newly-promoted club Barry Town United.

The clash at Jenner Park will now kick off at 5:15 pm on Saturday 19 August. .

The following weekend, on Saturday 26 August, the attention turns to Latham Park where last season’s beaten European play-off finalists Newtown host Aberystwyth Town (5.15 pm).

Fresh from their first ever European campaign, Penybont will host Cardiff Met at the SDM Glass Stadium in front of the television cameras on Tuesday 29 August (7.45 pm).


Finally, Sgorio will be live from The Oval on Friday 1 September when Caernarfon Town host 2022/23 JD Cymru Premier runners-up Connah’s Quay Nomads. The kick-off time of 7:45pm for this fixture is unchanged.
