Ynys Môn men’s squad in Guernsey

It’s all systems go for Ynys Môn men and women’s football teams as they kick-off their 2023 Guernsey Island Games campaign tomorrow (Sunday).

The females face Western Isies in Group C (10.30 am) before the men take on the Falkland Islands in their opening Group B encounter (2.30 pm).

This is the 19th Island Games and the male footballers from Anglesey have won gold twice – at Gotland 1999 and on home turf in 2019 at the Inter-Games, a soccer competition held separately from the main games in Gibraltar.
