Positive news for Bethesda Athletic – they have formed a reserve side for 2023-24

Bethesda Athletic have formed a reserve side following their first team’s promotion to the tier 3 Ardal North West League.

Pesda’s second XI will be spearheaded by experienced duo Jason Scott and Anthony Hughes, who both know the club well, having represented the firsts in the past.

The club will be holding an open training session next week. For more information message Jason on 07399 768214 or send a DM to the club on social media.

Bethesda Athletic last had a reserve team competing in 2010-11 in the former Caernarfon and District League.

That same season the firsts were back in the Welsh Alliance, having been relegated despite finishing ninth of 16 clubs in the Cymru Alliance the season before.

Eight teams lost their place in tier 2 because of a restructuring of the Welsh Premier.

Meanwhile, Bethesda Athletic recently held their annual presentation night at Clwb Rygbi Bethesda.
