Lots of new signings will be announced across North Wales football in the coming weeks.
As a taster, here are six crackers already revealed.
Vastly experienced 35-year-old joins ambitious tier 3 club Flint Mountain after many seasons as a Cymru Premier player.
Former top flight clubs include Nomads, Caernarfon Town and Bala Town with in excess of 100 CPL goals scored.
Hayes is Ardal North West club Flint Mountain’s first signing of the summer.
As well as bringing goals, Hayes offers much experience as he links up with Aden Shannon, Jonny Hill and Joe Cossins on the coaching staff.
Mountain manager Shannon had this to say on his new signing: “Really excited to be working with Mike.
“As soon as we realised he was available, we knew we had to try to get him on board. “We’ve worked hard and thankfully we were successful. He’s buying into the club’s plans and it just shows the ambition of our club to get Mike on board.
“It’s an exciting one for the players, the fans, and the coaching staff because he is also coming in as a player/coach, so he’s going to be valuable on and off the pitch for us.
“He’s a great lad, mainly he’s a goal scorer, and as we know we lacked goals last season, so he’s more than capable of hopefully pushing us towards a title charge next season because he’s that good!
“Not only that, it’s what he brings to the team and the coaching staff as well.
“He’s just finished his A Licence and he’s looking to come on board with the coaching side of things, so I’m also looking forward to working with him in that perspective.
“It’s a massive signing for the club and there will be more to come!”

Midfield general Noah Edwards is reunited with his former manager Neil Gibson at Deeside Stadium.
One of four footballing brothers – Kai, Zyaac and Zebb the others – Noah has been a dynamic performer for Caernarfon Town in recent seasons.
The 27-year-old Noah has switched to Nomads on a two-year deal.
Edwards has established himself in the JD Cymru Premier with a string of regularly impressive performances for Caernarfon since he joined the Cofis in 2018.
He spent a number of years working under Neil Gibson at Prestatyn Town before a brief spell with the Quay at the beginning of the 2018 campaign where he featured as a substitute in both Europa League ties against Belarusian side, Shaktyor Soligorsk.
On rejoining the club, Noah commented: “I’m really happy to have signed for The Nomads – having worked with Gibbo before and having spent a short time at the club a few years ago, I am very lucky to be coming back to the club and hopefully will help Connah’s Quay add to the success that has been achieved over the last 6-7 years.”
Attacking player who will be a great asset to Prestatyn-based Bow at tier 5.
Robb was at Penmaenmawr Phoenix last season and other former clubs include Llandudno Albion and Llandudno Junction.
He has also been a prominent player in past Rhyl and District Sunday League campaigns.
A Bow FC statement said: “We are thrilled to announce that Kyle has agreed to join the mighty Bow.
“He is a player who brings experience, composure and clinical finishing to our squad and we know he’s going to play a big part in our season ahead.
“Last season he only managed to play 9 games because of work commitments but registered 4 goals and 8 assists in those games for Pen Phoenix.”
A member of Ynys Môn’s squad which won the 2019 Inter Games Football Tournament, midfielder Jones returns to his hometown club.
Dafydd last played for Cefni in 2017 before moving to Gaerwen and Bodedern Athletic, then having successful spells at tier 2 with Conwy Borough and Hotspur.
Llangefni manager James Saxon said: “I am so pleased that Dafydd has decided to re-join the club. He can operate anywhere in midfield or as a full-back. He has been a top performer at tier 2 for a number of years now and will no doubt add quality and experience to the side.”
