The 2nd XI were much too strong for visitors Bangor seconds on Saturday, bowling out their opponents for 135 with Gareth Boys taking a remarkable 6-9 off 7.4 overs.
Peter Jones did best with the bat for Bangor, scoring 46.
The Steelmen lost three very quick wickets in reply, all taken by Ollie Dawson (3-33) before a ton plus unbroken stand between Henry Lunn (64 not out) and Jack Aplin (54 no) guided them to 136-3 and a 14-1 points verdict.
Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka returned fabulous figures of 5-19 off eight overs as Bersham dismissed St Asaph seconds for a modest 138.
Amith Thilakarathne also picked up 2-19 as Saints struggled for runs, Elliot Morris making 31 and David Lloyd 30.
Suresh Lakmal Koswaththage struck 47 not out as the hosts reached 142-6, Morris 2-11 for the visitors.

Dave Evans cracked 86 not out and Nick Thomas 40 in Pont’s formidable total of 209-4 from 40 overs, Jon Davies 2-27 for the hosts.
Mochdre seconds were kept down to 185-6, Owen Opie 58 and Davies 33, David Brilley 3-17 and Ioan Jones 2-41 for victorious Pont.
Mold opener Chris Boulton’s 104 was one of the innings of the day in North Wales.

On a weekend of largely low scores across the league again, the pattern continued at Central Park.

The visitors reached the winning post with eight balls and two wickets to spare, ending on 144-8 off 38.4 overs.
Clayton’s 36 not out and 28 from Roberts down the order did most to ensure the away side got the right result, Josh Marshall (2-12) and Ted Pearson (2-17) bowling well for Park in a losing cause.

Carmel seconds were rolled over for 108, Richard Sim 37, Iwan Lloyd 3-11 and Lewis Derwent 3-26 for winners Bersham.
Captain Alun Jones produced a tremendous knock of 92, while fellow opener Ned Roberts hit 45 as Ruthin seconds registered 192-8 off 40 overs, Thomas Conde 2-27 for the hosts.
Dolgellau were all out for 141, Philip Deane 64 and Phil Leeds 30, Aled Owen 2-28 for the travellers.
Young opener Aaron Thomas made a crucial 52 in a five-wicket win for hosts Halkyn seconds.
Llanrwst seconds called the coin correctly and batted, setting 150-5, Aled Hughes 42 no and Alex Evans 39, Finlay Rooke-Hart 2-26 for the home side.
Halkyn then made it to 154-5 from 36, Thomas’ half-ton well backed by Shaun Gibson’s 35 no and 27 from James Beresford.
Harri Adams (42 no), Craig Edwards (32) and Gareth Rhys Morgan (28) helped Pwllheli set 186-8, Jeremy Wilks taking 4-25 and James Culley 2-17 for the visitors.
Marchwiel & Wrexham came up short in response, posting a final total of 150-6, Culley starring with 74 no and Zahid Sharif contributing 31, Pwll’s Ioan Morgan grabbing 2-17 and Ben Cowper 2-23.
