NORTH WALES FOOTBALL RESULTS – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5

ERYRI CONSULTING NORTH WALES COAST WEST

PREMIER DIVISION

Glantraeth 2 CPD Aberffraw 1

Steven Jones’ added time winner booked the points for Glantraeth in this south west coast Anglesey derby.

Ywain McQuire-Jones handed Berffro a 34th minute lead, but Keenan Latham levelled before half time.

Glan had Aron Jones sent off for a second yellow on 87, but the hosts had the last word with Steven Jones’ 91st minute decider, a header via a corner from the right.

CPD Llanberis 2 Llanrug United 3

Last-gasp winners were the order of the night as Shaun Roberts’ 93rd minute net-finder clinched the spoils for Llanrug in a hard-fought derby at Ffordd Padarn.

After a goalless first half, Tomos Saynor put hosts Llanberis in front on 55 minutes.

When David Noel Williams was red-carded for United two minutes later, it looked grim for the visitors.

However, Morgan Celt Williams levelled things up in the 70th and then added a second to edge his team ahead on 86.

Dion Owen replied on 89 and at 2-2 a draw looked the likeliest outcome, but then Roberts struck to secure a perhaps unexpected away win given the teams’ respective positions.

CPD Mynydd Llandegai 1 CPD Pwllheli 3

Three second-half goals sealed it for Pwllheli after Steven Tindall had given hosts Llandegai an interval lead.

Carl Jones made it all-square on 63, man of the match Sol Kempster gave third-place Pwll the lead five minutes later and a late finish from Twm Jones settled it.

Talysarn Celts 2 Bethesda Athletic 2

All-square in this top-four tussle at Gloddfa Glai.

Leaders Pesda led twice but had to settle for a point.

Tomos Hughes put Mark N Hughes’ side 1-0 up at half time, but Dylan Hughes made it one-apiece in the 72nd minute.

Daniel Hughes restored the away lead on 79, but two minutes later Glyn Hughes-Thomas ensured Celts salvaged a point.

DIVISION ONE

Cemaes Bay 4 Arriva 2

Second-place Cemaes established a 10-point gap over third spot with an expected home win against bottom side Arriva.

Luke McKittrick opened the scoring just six minutes in, getting on the end of a Sion Rowlands assist.

Cian Owen made it two on the half-hour before Liam Roberts pulled one back for the Busmen on 42, but Gary Jo Owen made it 3-1 in added time

McKittrick continued his fine form as he added Cemaes’ fourth goal after the break.
