Three teams can still win the tier 3 Ardal North West League title.

Here is the state of play and each contender’s remaining matches.

CPD Y RHYL 1879

Played 23 Points 59 Goal Difference +37

With points in the bank, the Lilywhites are in a very strong position to win the league.

Gareth Thomas’ side still have title rivals Bangor 1876 and Denbigh Town to play. This Saturday’s visit to 1876 is a real six-pointer.

Despite so many problems with injuries and suspensions over the season, Rhyl have held it together remarkably well. They won’t want to let it slip now.

April 22: Nantlle Vale (home)

BANGOR 1876

Played 21 Points 50 Goal Difference +40

Probably the outsiders of the three to win the title, but if they can beat Rhyl 1879 this Saturday, the rest of their league matches are very winnable.

Have to be looking at the maximum 15 points and hope that will be enough to secure them top spot.

April 8: CPD Y Rhyl 1879 (home)
April 11: CPD Y Felinheli (away)
April 15: Llandudno Albion (away)
April 28: Nantlle Vale (home)
May 6: Hawarden Rangers (home)

Could cup commitments affect the treble-chasers’ league aspirations?

With such a strong squad, always plenty of quality on the bench, and so many players capable of goals, you would not put it past them to land the treble.

Nine matches over the next six weeks is still very demanding.

Played 19 Points 49 Goal Difference +52

April 11: Hawarden Rangers (home)
April 15: CPD Y Rhyl 1879 (away)
April 22: Llangefni Town (away)
April 26: Llay Welfare (away)

May 6: Nantlle Vale (home)
May 13: Rhostyllen (away)
