Hat-trick star Leon Doran

Leon Doran was a hat-trick star as Llanrwst kept up their hopes of runners-up spot with a seven-goal deluge at Tower Field.

Former Holyhead Hotspur man Doran struck on 10, 45 and 62 minutes as the Rwsters piled the agony on Llangollen.

Jac Parry, Dafi Evans, Sion Jones and Ilan Davies added single goals for the third-place visiting side.

Issac Carey put Llandudno on their way to victory with a first-half double at Y Morfa, one a penalty.

Greg Hall made it 3-0 after 56 minutes and although Bradley Williams pulled one back for the hosts, substitute Kyle Kelly knocked in a fourth for Tudno.

Airbus UK Broughton Res 0 The New Saints U-21’s 3

Simon Smith’s Saints are nine points clear after picking up a 3-0 win against Airbus UK Broughton Reserves.

Joe Connolly, Josh Evans and Tyler Roberts were all on target at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

Sam Felgate scored a hat-trick as Gresford celebrated a great result over a battling Cefn Albion.

Kai Morris scored for Albion, who has Thomas Evans sent off after 88 minutes for a second yellow card.

Another dominant victory for Jamie Hulse’s North West champions as they triumphed in this league cup group game.

Sam Jones scored the first early on before a Dafydd Evans double and Meirion Pughe strike gave them a 4-0 lead at half time.

Ioz Jones made it 5-0 early in the second period before Holywell pulled a goal back late in the game.
