Within the past fortnight Trearddur Bay’s Asa Thomas has become the first Anglesey-based player to reach and pass 30 goals in senior football this season.
Back-to-back hat-tricks from Asa have lifted his total for the campaign to 34 goals in just 20 matches. He is now on 616 career goals and edging ever-closer to the great Tommy Welsh’s all-time North Wales coast record of 631.
Two young stars recently broke the 20 goals mark for the 2022-23 season.
Louis Chapman, aged 21, is on 22 this term for tier 5 North Wales Coast West Division One team Caergybi, with 11 netted in his past three games. Louis banged in 51 for Caergybi last season.
And 17-year-old sensation Connor Owen pocketed a hat-trick for tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division outfit Gwalchmai on Saturday which boosted his tally to 22.
