NORTH WALES COAST WEST DIVISION ONE – DECEMBER 3 REPORTS

CPD Mountain Rangers 0 Cemaes Bay 4

Cemaes maintained a seven-point lead at the Division One summit with a hard-fought win at Rhosgadfan.

It was goalless at half time, part down to Bay’s profligacy in front of goal, but also some stubborn Rangers defending.

The Anglesey side were much more clinical in the second half.

Top-scorer Matt Reynolds broke the deadlock on 56 minutes when he headed in a superb cross from full-back Luke Roberts.

Tom Wood struck twice in quick session to make it 3-0 before a Dylan Jones header from a Ryan Folksman corner completed the scoring.

CPD Gaerwen 0 Trearddur Bay 10

Mel McGinness scored straight from the kick-off at the start of the second half as part of a hat-trick in second-place Trearddur’s 10-goal show at Lon Groes.

Asa Thomas was another to notch a treble which boosted his total for the season to 27 goals. Two of Thomas’ trio came from the penalty spot.

Mike Edwards, Sol Williams, Coby Doutch and Justin Williams added singles for Nick Dumbarton’s team.

CPD Cefni 1 Caergybi 1

All-square at Cefni, with the home team’s Jamie Lee Patterson scoring first on 50 minutes before Adam Morris equalised after 78.

Substitute Ash Beck was shown a red card in added time for Caergybi.

Holyhead Town 3 CPD Y Fali 0

Llanfairpwll 3 Bontnewydd 2

Three big points for Llanfairpwll from this clash of the high-flyers at Maes Eilian.

Adam Thomas, Rees Roberts and Morgan Rowlands supplied the home goals, Alex Kalafusz replying with a double but also receiving a red card for the visitors.

Llangoed and District 1 Llanystumdwy 0

A great win for Llangoed with David ‘Twm’ Thomas grabbing the 52nd minute decider at Tyddyn Paun.

The goal came from a corner where the ball was nodded into the six-yard box by Nathaniel Evans and Thomas netted with a glancing header.

New signing Oliver Pope enjoyed a fantastic debut for the Puffins.
