NORTH EAST WALES FOOTBALL LEAGUE REPORTS – NOVEMBER 26

PREMIER DIVISION

FC Queen’s Park 0 New Brighton Villa 2

A stunning performance earned new Premier leaders Villa three points from what is regarded as the toughest away day in the league.

Samuel Wainwright broke the deadlock on two minutes and Grant Spenser added a crucial second close to the final whistle.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Acton 8 Johnstown FC 1

The prolific Sam Giles hit four goals for Acton in a home thrashing of Johnstown.

Oliver Scarsbrook, Joe Garner, Joe Jarvis and Tommy Hallam added one apiece for the hosts, Christopher Jones replying.

FC United of Wrexham 8 Bellevue 1

This match was reported in depth by Grassroots North Wales on Saturday.

It was a first win of the season for FC United, Shane Burke and Christopher Roberts both with hat-tricks, Mthulisi Ndlovu and Osian Jones added one each, while Adam Rush pocketed Bellevue’s consolation.

Holywell United 1 Caerwys 1

Leaders Caerwys remain undefeated but would probably have expected more from their visit to Holywell.
