Which pair are joint top of the North Wales women’s goals chart?

Another amazing Brian Prydd image of Rosie Hughes (red) letting fly for Wrexham

The Terrific Triumvirate all scored twice at the weekend to go flying ahead in the 2022-23 North Wales Goalden Girls Table.

Rosie Hughes of Wrexham and Connah’s Quay Nomads goal machine Kirstie Kural both moved up to 11 after doubles against Llandudno and Llanfair United respectively.

Sade Benjamin of NFA also reached double figures with a pair in her team’s 5-1 success at Northop Hall.

Rosie and Kirstie were quite fittingly included in the Genero Leagues Team of the Week. Shouldn’t they be in it every week?

One notable new entry is Stevie Donougher of Bangor 1876, the Australian sensation who has netted six times in her first two games. She hit four in 1876’s 8-0 whipping of Amlwch at the weekend.

Great also to see Caernarfon Town’s Lisa Jones in there on four goals after her hat-trick at Flint.
