GROUP A

Castell Alun Colts 3 Penyffordd Lions 0

Goals from Daniel Woosey (2) and Reece Jones led group leaders Castell Alun to a fine win over Penyffordd.

Alun have a 100 percent record of three straight wins.

Connah’s Quay Town Res 15 Bellevue 1

Mark Davies (4, 1 pen), Kyle Harte (3, 1 pen), Damon Bradley (3), Zaine Boden-Nevitt (2), Sean Williams (2) and Jack Griffiths combined to guide Town’s reserve side to a huge win at the expense of Bellevue, whose sole reply came from Joao Da Silva.

Bradley’s hat-trick came within seven second-half minutes.

GROUP B

Brymbo 0 New Brighton Villa 7

Seven for the Yellers with Matthew Robinson (pen), James Beck, Kieran Jones, Sam Wainwright (2), Jared Jones (pen) and Oliver Howarth sharing the goals.

GROUP C

Coedpoeth United 4 Holywell United 0

Three very late goals from Sam Chaloner, Michael Jones and Michael Taylor wrapped up victory for Coedpoeth, who had led since Nicholas McCormick’s seventh-minute strike.

Ruabon Rovers 7 Lex XI Reserves 0

Andrew Swarbrick led the way with a hat-trick for the home side.

Joshua Hughes, Conner Kendrick, Luis Hughes and Dan Kebell added singles for the hosts, who top the group with a perfect record.

GROUP D

Johnstown 0 Connah’s Quay Town 5

It took group-toppers and Trophy holders Town 37 minutes to make the breakthrough, but once they did there was little stopping them.

Ryan Hewitt scored two in quick succession before half time, then in the second period Jake Leonard, Lee Jones and Ryan Edwards also found the mark.

GROUP E

FC United of Wrexham 0 Mynydd Isa Spartans 9

Jay Wiles (3), Ross Walker, George Davies (2), Kobie Betts (2) and Michael Fleetwood delivered a glut of goals between them for the visitors.

Saltney Ferry 1 Coedpoeth Utd Reserves 1

Joshua Kearns handed Ferry an 11th minute lead, but close to half time Sean Phelan equalised and there were no further goals.

GROUP F

Caerwys Reserves 2 Greenfield Reserves 3

Dion Davies (2) and Tom Pritchard split Greenfield’s three goals to clinch three points.

A Finley Jenkins own goal and Harry Roberts net-finder brought Caerwys level at half time.

FC Queen’s Park 5 Sychdyn 1

Tony Jones, Jack Hanley, Liam Davies (2) and Luke Hughes combined to seal victory for the Park, Brandon Jones having put Sychdyn in front on 27 minutes.

GROUP G

Lex XI 2 Caerwys 0

Good win for Lex secured by goals from Sebastian Kidd in the third minute and Alan Huxley on 90.

The Lawmen head the group with a spotless record of three wins in as many outings.

Mynydd Isa Spartans Res 3 Castell Alun Colts Reserves 3

All square at Argoed, Liam Prytherch (2) and Harri Jones on target for the hosts, Nathan Jones’ strike, plus late goals from Jamie Hardy and Joshua Price salvaging a point for the visitors.

GROUP H

Greenfield 6 Acton 1

Six of the best from Greenfield, Benjamin Sim (2), Nathan Williams, Bailey Roberts, Darren Johns and Graeme Williams splitting the goals, Alistair Gibson having levelled for Acton in the early stages.
