Young talent Jack Hitchen notched a hat-trick for a Buckley side who banged in nine against outclassed visitors.

Hitchen, 19, set the ball rolling with a first-minute opener and added further goals on 17 and 82 minutes.

Ruben Lima Teixeira and Bradley Johnson added a double apiece for the hosts, who were 7-0 ahead at half time. An Elliot Rowland own goal and Max Moore single completed the Bucks deluge.

Robert Reynolds produced Gresford’s sole reply in the 64th minute.

Greg Draper (4), Frankie Kynaston-Bradbury, Tomas Jones, Tyler Roberts and Luke Johnston shared the goals as leaders Saints made it eight straight wins.

A great second half display by Jamie Hulse’s Ruthin team saw them overturn a 2-1 interval deficit.

Ioz Jones and Owen Heath bagged a brace apiece, while there were singles for Alex Webster, Robbie Williams and Charlie Gardner.

Leighton Jones and a Meirion Pughe own goal had given Llan a lead at the break.

Gary Evans and Austin Owen supplied the second-half goals which booked Penycae the points, Liam Hett having edged Hawarden in front.

No stopping second-place Nantlle Vale at bottom side Denbigh.

Deion Hughes (2), Calum Williams, Llion Griffiths (2) and Osian Emyr split the goals.
